Direct, not anonymous
"Direct trade" gets used loosely. For us it means we know who grows and prepares what we sell, and they know where it goes — no anonymous middle layers blurring the chain.
That relationship is what lets us keep quality consistent and provenance clear.
Why it matters for quality
When you buy from the people who tend the plants, you can hold a lot to a standard and trace it back when something varies. Single-origin, inspected, nothing diluted.
It also means harvesters are recognised fairly for skilled work that is easy to take for granted.
Slower, on purpose
Direct relationships are slower to build than a spot-market order. We think that is the point — it keeps the supply honest and the botanicals worthy of the traditions behind them.
