San Pedro cactus (Trichocereus pachanoi) is a fast-growing columnar cactus native to the Andes of Ecuador and Peru, where it has been cultivated and traded as a botanical and ornamental plant for thousands of years. It is one of the most botanically documented cacti in South America, studied for its alkaloid-rich skin and traditionally incorporated into Andean botanical practices under the name Huachuma.
We offer San Pedro in two forms: powder (finely milled dried skin, convenient for extraction and study) and dried skin (the whole dried outer layer of the cactus, preferred for botanical display, storage, and slow preparations). Material is sourced from organically grown Peruvian cultivars and dried at low temperature to preserve natural compounds.
